CheaperDeal doesn't require sign-up, an account, or any personal information to play.

Anonymous identity. When you first open the site, your browser generates a random anonymous ID and stores it in your browser's local storage, alongside your game progress (scores, streaks, discovered products, favorites, Deal Keys). Nothing about that ID identifies you personally — it's just a way to remember your progress on that device, and to recognize the same device on future visits. If you use the optional recovery code to link a second device, only that anonymous progress is combined — never any personal data, because we don't collect any.

Gameplay analytics. We record gameplay events (rounds played, picks, favorites saved, vaults opened, and similar) tied to that same anonymous ID, so we can understand how the game is used and improve it. This analytics data contains no names, emails, or other personal information.

We don't sell data. We don't sell or share individual data with third parties for advertising or any other purpose.

AliExpress affiliate links. Product links on CheaperDeal are AliExpress affiliate links. When you click through to AliExpress, the link carries an affiliate identifier so we may earn a commission if you make a purchase there — at no extra cost to you. That click-through is itself recorded as a gameplay event (which product, which anonymous ID), for the same reason as other analytics. Once you're on AliExpress, your interaction with that site is governed by AliExpress's own privacy policy, not this one.
